Spring is finally here! The weather has finally started leveling out without all the crazy dips of cold. There is still plenty of sunlight to enjoy outdoor activities after dinner. Recently I got hit with a touch of spring cleaning and cleared out all the old clothes that haven’t been worn in a while and started switching out for spring/summer fashion. Living in Florida, we don’t have too long of spring temps before it gets scorching so our spring fashion blends right into summer fashion with maybe an extra little layer for cool nighttime breezes. But right now is the perfect weather to be outside so the kids needed plenty of new tees, shorts, skirts, and sneakers/sandals. Thanks to OshKosh B’gosh we’re covered!

Over this past weekend we embraced the weather and did some of our favorite spring activities…in style! First we stopped at the garden center to pick up some new flowers to plant. While our winter is very mild it’s still nice to add some color once the temperatures get warmer. The kids loved smelling the flowers and pointing out the colors. See it’s educational too! 😉

Another favorite of ours is eating or relaxing at an outdoor restaurant or coffeehouse. You may have seen this picture on my Instagram account from over the weekend. The kids looked so adorable with their play coffee cups. Isabella in her pretty little tulle skirt and white flutter sleeve top with matching accessories and the most adorable little pink sandals. Gabriel killed me though. In just flat front gray shorts, a pink polo-style shirt and gray loafers he really looked like a little man! He had just had a haircut that day too so the adorableness was over the top.

Longer evenings in the spring means we get to head outside after dinner with sidewalk chalk, bubbles and now we’re even practicing hunting for Easter eggs! I grabbed a super cheap bubble machine at the store and it was really amazing for the price! The kids chased those bubbles everywhere, smacking them between their hands.
