Rainy Day Fashion with Janie and Jack

Rain, rain, go away! Phew! Thankfully it did! We were anxious to get out of the house after being couped up all morning. The good thing about Florida is our rainy days are far between and it usually doesn’t last all day…unless we’re in the peak of hurricane season. We had just received the kids Hunter Boots from Janie and Jack the week before and couldn’t wait to go find some puddles to jump in! Today was that day! Or so we thought…

Mornings where we’re stuck in the house and don’t get out are excruciatingly long. We colored, read, snacked, and finally napped. By that time the rain had subsided and the sun was shining! The kids slipped on their new Hunter Boots and we went in search of puddles in the neighborhood. Considering our town has the word “Hill” in it, you’d think we were sure to find a ton. Unfortunately for us, the temperatures had warmed up and the sun dried up most of the rain. We still took a walk around the block and eventually ended up back at our neighbor’s driveway (right next to where we started) to splash in his puddle. The kids had so much fun! Jumping is their favorite thing to do..add water and they’re two happy little people.

Can you believe these Hunter Boots are from Janie and Jack?! We’ve been fans of the brand for quite some time. They have the most adorable fashion for little ones. But I had just recently discovered that they sold these rain boots! Of course I just had to have matching boots for my little minis! They’re such amazing quality, perfect for rain or snow. We sized up for maximum use. If you’re in the thick of a snowy winter you should definitely check out the adorable little coats and cold weather gear!
