Summer Splashing and Snacking with Nuby

Now that it’s full blown summer around here, we spend a lot of time outdoors. The kids love staying cool splashing around in the water table & pool and enjoying snacks on the lanai.

Since they’re both still very young and pool toys tend to be geared towards older kids we found that it’s fun to take our bath toys outside. If you think about it, the pool is just a larger bath tub right? 😉 Our new favorite toys for the pool are Nuby’s Tub Tugs Bath Toys. These floating rubber boats come in a 2-pack making them perfect for races!

Nuby Tub Tugs are geared for babies 6 months and up and are BPA Free making them safe for those teething babies. If your little one is anything like Gabriel they’ll most likely end up in their mouth. Boat races really bring out their imaginations and yours too! We like to make up lots of different sounds that the boats make. Usually I end up sounding like a train though…I think I have to work on that some more.

After some intense races, we re-energize and refuel with a snack. Isabella does pretty well with just a bowl of fruit or a Nuby Fruitsicle, but Gabriel likes to throw his containers around. That’s why we broke out the Nuby Designer Series Snack Keeper again. The Snack Keepers worked great when Isabella was younger and Gabriel loves them too! I don’t have to worry about snacks flying and messes to clean up. The Snack Keepers have a soft lid perfect for his little hand to reach in, grab a snack and pull it out. I only had to show him once how to use the Snack Keeper and he was a pro!

Nuby Snack Keepers are great for car rides too. Now that he’s a little older I let him have his drink and snack in the car for longer rides (or just to keep my sanity). Both kids LOVE fruit and throwing some blueberries and grapes in the Snack Keeper keep them from rolling all around the car and house. Gabriel has also been loving the Gerber Lil Beanies. We all fight over the White Cheddar & Broccoli flavor 😉
