We had wellness exams for Isabella (3 yr) and Gabriel (15 mo) today…slightly overdue, but whatevs. I took both of them by myself, fully prepared for 2 screaming, writhing babes. They did amazing! The office was also out of shots so we skipped that part which may be why they were so good. 😉

Height: 36 1/4″ (17%)
Body Mass: 13 (1%)
Gabriel – 15 months

Height: 31 1/4 (29%)
Head Circumference: 19″ (81%)
Isabella has always been at the lower end of the weight scale, but the doctor wasn’t pleased with her stats this time. We’ve hit the picky eater stage. Breakfast and Lunch she normally does pretty well, but dinner is our main struggle. One day she’ll eat something and the next she won’t like it. I do not make separate meals for them. Although now that may change. We were recommended to try PediaSure. I’m not sold on the sugar content so I’m going to research healthier fat options. She also has BM troubles (probably due to her eating habits) and recently started Culturelle Kids (once a day in her milk). QUESTION: Have you experienced low weight gain with your kids? What healthy alternatives have you tried?
Gabriel is doing great with his big ol’ head. He’ll be the same size as his sister in no time. He’s at the baseline for speech, so we’ll be focusing more on reading and word repetition. Other than that he’s a healthy little horse!
**Gabriel dropped a deuce 5 minutes after we arrived at the doctors. Most peds don’t allow dumping of poopy diapers and I didn’t have any of those disposable diaper trash bags. You better believe these are on my next Amazon delivery. –> Shop Nuby Diaper Sacks (50 ct) here.
