Gabriel turns the Wild One: Part 1 - Crazy Life with Littles

Well here we are again with a Gabriel monthly update, only its a very sentimental one for me. My baby boy is ONE. Although he may officially be a toddler, he’ll always be my baby…my squishy, cuddly, chubby cheek baby!

Stats:

Weight: 20 lbs 1 oz (gained 1 lb since last well visit)

Height: 29 in (has not grown since the last height check)

Eating: We are weaning Gabriel on to whole milk now, although it’s still in a bottle. This kid WILL NOT drink formula/milk out of a sippy/straw cup. Like not at all. If he sees you put it in the cup, he won’t even bother taking it from you, just shakes his head no. If he doesn’t watch you and just takes a sip, he’ll turn to you with a look like “you really tried that again? not gonna happen, mom”. He’s eating meals with us. Loves breakfast sausage, strawberries, pears, apples, hot dogs, pb&j sandwiches, broccoli, sweet potatoes, french fries, cheeseburgers, cucumbers, tomatoes.

Teeth: 4 (2 on top, 2 on bottom)

Playing: Loves toys that play music. He really gets into it, shaking his head and his booty. It’s quite entertaining. Loves playing with books, things he’s not supposed to touch, shoes, play kitchen- mainly removing and putting back the coffee pot. I just need to teach him to pour me some coffee! He likes to pick things up and use them to balance as he stands up.

Custom shorts: Once I found a print that I liked, I contacted a favorite shop of ours, Babeeluhandmade, to make a pair of shorts for Gabriel. For custom prints you would need to send her your fabric (and there was even enough fabric for a tank top to be made for Isabella!).She makes adorable tanks, tees, rompers, harem shorts, regular shorts, etc. All excellent quality stitching!
